The first season of Four x Four profiled creatives who challenge our ideas of what creativity is. An art studio and gallery born from a day program for people with disabilities run by a non-profit? organization and a barber who uses each head of hair they cut as a canvas.
Four x Four: Building a community through art
Alternative Creations is an art studio and gallery based out of East Vancouver, BC, Canada that empowers people with disabilities to create, share and sell their art. More than just a physical space, Alternative Creations is an art collective whose purpose is to enrich the lives of their artists and the community-at-large. They accomplish this by sharing their studio and gallery space, and hosting events and workshops by like-minded people.
